The texture and taste of bbq is good but the weird after taste of cherry put me off eating a handful of these chips it’s needs some acidity like vinegar to balance it out

These chips looked so promising and sound delicious, I've had several things flavored with BBQ and cherry but these are so so strange. It's almost as if you're eating a candy apple while eating run of the mill BBQ chips. The flavoring is so artificial tasting and the chips have an aftertaste almost perfume or chemical like. Very strange, I Couldn't even finish more than a few and I'm a kettle chip addict. Disliked these so much I felt compelled to review them, Won't be purchasing these again!

These are my new favorite chip, and I normally don't even like BBQ chips! They are sweet, zesty, with a hint of cherry flavor. Love them! Just wish I could find them near me.. these are a 10 for our family!

We were so excited to see these on the store shelves at 7-11 today. Without thought we bought them and opened them as soon as we got back to our car. First of all, they were expired by two days. We didn't notice that though until after we tried them... they tasted stale and left a horrible after taste. The idea is great... but really, can you obtain a cherry flavor with cherry flakes. Cherry flakes are the last thing on the ingredients list. Even though they were definitely stale we should have had a hint of cherry flavor, right? Sorry, but these chips got the lowest score possible.

I have never had a bbq chip that I didn't like until I purchased your Michigan Cherry BBq patato chips. There was no cherry flavor or real bbq flavor. It seemed that one flavor cancelled out he other. Try as I might and a handful of chips later they were still awful.

The chips taste great while eating them, but there's an overwhelming cough medicine aftertaste from the cherry flavoring.

I bought 2 family size bags of these chips 2 days ago from our local SAMs because my 2 daughters & I loved them. There is something very different about the tasted! The cherry taste is barely there if at all in most of the chips. Even the bbq flavor is lacking! Very disappointed. Hope it is just these two bags or the batch that SAMs received. Price was great for the size bag, & it was fuller then most other brand. I hate to scratch from my favorite list but they really are different & sadly not a taste we enjoy anymore.

I'm not sure if we just got a bad batch given the overwhelming positive reviews other patrons left, but we only could smell and taste an artificial cherry flavor. I generally love Great Lakes Potato Chips, so I will continue to recommend other flavors to friends and family. Best, Cam

I bought the cherry BBQ chips because I thought there must be something special about them since the premise was incomprehensible to me. I’m sorry to say that I threw out the whole bag after 1 chip.

worst artificial chips on the market!! taste like they mixed cherry flavored Kool-Aid powder and mixed it with bbq sauce and poured it in the bag before sealing! DONT BUY, its a trap!!!
